The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) is a not-for-profit structural steel technical institute that partners with the AEC community to develop safe and efficient steel specifications and codes while driving innovation to make steel the most sustainable, economic, and resilient structural material on the market.
AISC's Sustainability team, in particular, is devoted to ensuring designers and developers alike have the resources they need to make informed decisions about sustainable steel construction.
AISC understands the important role that structural steel reuse plays in embodied carbon reduction and is well-positioned to serve as a hub for all things related to steel circularity.
Circular Steel has proven to be a notable platform for these conversations, spurring attendees to action.
AISC is proud to support the inaugural Circular Steel event in the United States and looks forward to continued collaboration to develop a much-anticipated circular steel supply chain.
As a step on this journey, we have recently published two sustainability toolkits.
